An announcement from the Central Bank of Myanmar (CBM) disallowing the use of prepaid cards in the local currency is a step backwards for cashless transactions, industry observers said.

အျခားႏုိင္ငံေတြအေနနဲ႔ Digital Currency ေတြကုိ အလုအယက္ အသုံးျပဳလာေနတဲ့အခ်ိန္မွာ ျမန္မာႏုိင္ငံကေတာ့ Master Card လုိ ကတ္ေတြကုိ အသုံးျပဳခြင့္မျပဳဘူးလုိ႔ေျပာပါတယ္။ ျမန္မာႏုိင္ငံဗဟုိဘဏ္အေနနဲ႔ ဒီလုိကတ္ေတြကုိ အသုံးျပဳတာဟာ ဆုတ္ယုတ္မႈတစ္ခုလုိ႔ျမင္ပါတယ္။ အ့ံၾသစရာ ကိစၥတစ္ခုလုိ႔ထင္ပါတယ္။ ဆုတ္ယုတ္မႈဆုိတာက ဘယ္သူေတြဆုတ္ယုတ္သလဲဆုိတာေတာ့ မသိပါဘူး။
